Electric meter for EV chargers from Eastron Europe, the SDM72 series, SDM230Modbus and SDM630-EV, are low-cost, single/three-phase metering solutions that measure up to 100A direct load. They are self-supplied, measuring energy and displaying as Active (kWh) or Re-Active (kVarh) without external auxiliary supply. Energy metering through our EV chargers with separate meters can also help control total power usage while allowing companies and households to generate an alternate source of income through increased footfall of local EV consumers. Our metering solutions for electric vehicles are MID (B+D) / Eichrecht certified, enabling the safe prevention of power outages from overloading and averting overconsumption or misuse of energy. EV charger metering solutions are designed for DIN-Rail mounting, with IP51 front protection and come equipped with Pulsed outputs and RS485 Modbus.
